Who we are

What this policy covers
This website is currently a pre-launch information page. It does not collect, store, or process personal data from visitors at this time. This policy describes how we will handle your data once the Pebblr product and waitlist go live, so you know what to expect before you ever share anything with us.
What we will collect when the product launches
When the waitlist and product open, and only with your consent, we may collect your name and contact details, your city, information about your pet, and the content you choose to upload such as photos, descriptions, and lab reports. We collect only what is needed for the stated purpose. We do not collect data just in case.
Why we will collect it
To provide the Pebblr service: to read the signals you give us, show you what the data indicates, and build your pet's health picture over time. To contact you about the service. To improve the accuracy and quality of the product, including, where you have consented, using uploaded content to train and improve our analysis. We will tell you each purpose clearly at the point we ask for your data.
Lawful basis
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we will process your personal data on the basis of your consent. Consent will be free, specific, informed, and unambiguous, given by a clear affirmative action. We will not bundle unrelated consents or rely on pre-ticked boxes. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Third parties and AI processing
To analyse the information you provide, Pebblr uses artificial intelligence services provided by Anthropic. Content you submit for analysis may be processed by these services for that purpose. We will name our processors and keep contracts in place requiring them to protect your data. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share personal information in limited circumstances, including with veterinary professionals in the case of a pet emergency.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you will have the right to access a summary of your data, to correction and updating, to erasure, to grievance redressal, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. To exercise any right, contact our grievance officers above.
Data retention
We will keep your personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and will delete it when no longer needed or on your valid request.
Data storage location
We intend to store personal data on infrastructure located in India where practicable. Where data is processed outside India, for example by our analysis providers, we will do so in accordance with the DPDP Act and applicable law.
Children
Pebblr is intended for adults aged 18 and over. The product concerns animal health, not the health of any person under 18. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children.
Changes
We will update this policy as the product develops and as our final wording is reviewed by legal counsel. The last updated date will reflect any change.
